HC-05 Bluetooth Module

The HC-05 is a widely used Bluetooth module that allows for wireless communication between devices. It is based on Bluetooth 2.0 technology, and it’s typically used for short-range, low-power communication, often in embedded systems, robotics, home automation, and other wireless control applications.

  • Bluetooth Version: 2.0 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate).
  • Frequency: Operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band.
  • Communication: Can be configured as both a master and a slave, enabling it to either initiate or accept connections.
  • Interface: Communicates with microcontrollers using a serial interface (UART).
  • Range: Effective communication range is typically around 10 meters, depending on the environment and obstructions.
  • Baud Rate: Default baud rate is 9600, but it can be configured to operate at different rates.
