ZMCT103C is a hall effect transformer for measuring AC Current. This module uses the transformer to convert AC Mains Current to a small measurable current in the ratio 1000:1. It is Great for building AC sensing, energy monitors, loggers, home automation systems, etc
The transformer’s 2 output pins which output the low current signal are broken out to 2 header pins which can be easily connected to an external circuit. Using a simple current-to-voltage converter, you can connect the output to a microcontroller to measure the AC Current.
Note: We have a plug-and-play model of this current sensor with all required external electronics included. You can use this module to directly convert AC current to a 0-5V Voltage signal.
