Capacitor Charging Discharging – Paper Circuit Project
Abstract: The Capacitor Charging and Discharging System is a simple educational electronics model designed using paper circuit technology to demonstrate the basic behavior of a capacitor in an electrical circuit. The project visually explains how a capacitor stores electrical energy during charging and releases energy during discharging.
In this model, a capacitor is connected with a resistor and LED. When the power supply is switched ON, the capacitor gradually charges, causing the LED to glow slowly. When the power supply is switched OFF, the capacitor discharges through the circuit, keeping the LED ON for a short duration before turning OFF. This slow glow and fade effect helps students clearly understand time constant (RC circuit) concepts.
The use of copper wire on paper instead of a PCB makes the project low-cost, safe, and easy to assemble without soldering. This project is ideal for basic electronics learning, physics practical demonstrations, and science exhibitions.

This item is covered by a 7-day limited warranty from the date of delivery, applicable only to manufacturing defects. This warranty is provided solely to protect customers against any such defects. In the unlikely event of an issue, replacement or reimbursement will be offered after a complete inspection and confirmation of the defect.
What voids the warranty?
If the product is subject to misuse, tampering, static discharge, accident, water or fire damage, use of chemicals & soldered or altered in any way.
