Abstract:
The Headlight Turning by Steering system is an advanced automotive mechanism designed to improve night-time visibility and driving safety. This system allows the vehicle’s headlight to turn in the same direction as the steering wheel, ensuring that the illuminated beam always follows the road ahead. Unlike conventional fixed headlights, this mechanism dynamically adjusts the lighting angle during cornering, enabling drivers to clearly see curves, turns, and obstacles on the road.
The system operates by mechanically linking the headlight assembly to the steering system. As the steering wheel rotates, a connected linkage or gear mechanism transfers this motion to the headlight unit. The mechanism includes a set of gears, rods, or tie-link arrangements, driven by the rotation of the steering column or steering rack.
